After years of senseless abuse under the guise of satisfying our hedonistic cravings, there comes a point wherein we have to put a stop and renew our unhealthy ways. We become health conscious and try to be real health buffs. Stress is found in every corner of our environment in every moment of our lives. That is why the best way to cope with stress is to fight it off. Stress makes us grow older and cranky. Just remember that we need to keep a sound mind and body.
The basics of healthy living are common sense and self-discipline. The first step is hydration. Water is essential and without it we will get dehydrated and die. Another basic practice is following the food pyramid. In order to live healthily we need to eat. With enough servings of go, grow and glow foods, we make sure that our bodies have all of the required nutrients from the food pyramid.
Exercise is also essential and a healthy person should walk 5 thousand steps a day. It’s the best form of exercise for most busy people. Aside from walking, you can make it a habit to move around and do more chores when at home. You can go the distance by walking from your home to your office.
Watching movies and relaxing are also essential to maintain health. We all need to keep ourselves from getting overworked otherwise we may get burned out. If you think you are still not eating right, try some multi vitamins. For malnourished people it’s very easy to acquire illnesses like gout, flu and scabies.
Very tiny mites cause a skin infliction called scabies. Scabies are manifested through rashes, abrasions and itchiness. Gout on the other hand is when the uric acid in the body accumulates and causes gout inflammation. Flu is quite common, and is caused by bacteria and viruses.
