The 70s era has been full of revolution in every aspect of its time: pop culture, science, economy, politics, and the whole society. And when talking about toys, the 70s vintage collection has been nothing but amusing even at the present time. In the US, they are still existing at the present, and most can really so expensive and worth than how they were 40 years ago. Join me as I can a trip down the 70s time line to see what toy I might still have today that has been making waves from then till now.
1. The Kreskin’s ESP game. The appeal of this game is to help the player know if he has an ESP, Extrasensory Perception. A famous mentalist, Kreskin, who was also considered Amazing, has been world-renowned even until now. As a matter of fact, he has been regarded as the 20th century’s Nostradamus. The game has several options that you have to try. First, you have to attempt to guess the symbol of a certain card; then, you will be asked to answer questions either by using letters or answering yes-no. To better understand this, you definitely have to check this game out!
2. Etch-A-Sketch. From the time it was introduced some 40 years ago until the present time, this toy has still been hitting the chart as a phenomenal game. A must-have drawing toy that has been made from a plastic frame with a gray screen-like front, and knobs, two of them, that make it possible for the player to control the drawing’s movements. Because of its popularity, a lot of innovations and improvements were done at the present, and has been selling millions of copy too. This toy has indeed taken the world by a storm.
3. The Crissy Doll toy. Since it grows auburn hair, this doll is indeed quite unique in its rather special way. An opening at the top of the head where you will see the adjustable lock of hair being kept. What is fun here is that little girls playing with this can adjust the length of the hair anyway they want. This will certainly prove that dolls are girls’ best friends.
It is not surprising how these 70s vintage toys can still make their comeback. Why don’t you go over your attic and check if you can still play with them?
