PS3 Sale Price

Have you ever tried to find a PS3 on sale? If you do see them on sale it’s not much off the regular price. It can be annoying if you only have a set amount of money to work with and it’s not quite enough to make the purchase.

I’m right there with you! I have tried to justify the item in so many ways for so long. To start building a PS3 fund I thought I would begin by selling my old PS2 games. I’ve given serious thought to cleaning out my closet, trying to find some of those old jeans that now seem to be in fashion and see if I could sell them on eBay. I dug through the basement in the junk room looking for old board games and stuffed animals to auction off online. We even put our stuff in a neighborhood sale to come up with the funds to buy a PS3. Not including my time I made about $50. As an aside, garage sales are not the way to go! I definitely recommend auctioning your old stuff off on eBay, you’ll make much more money.

I’ve been there before. The PS3 has so much to offer in compared to other gaming consoles. A primary selling point for me is that it is Blu-Ray. Not only are all the games HD but now my movies are too. Good luck getting that point past the wife! Honestly, once we got HD and my wife watched it a few times we really only watch HD shows or movies. I had won her over on every point exept the price.

I’ve done my homework in this area and I simply haven’t been able to find a better value for the money than the PS3. Even when it’s not on sale! The average Blu-Ray player will cost you $200-$250 but it doesn’t play games. While XBox does offer HD it is not the preferred format. Still, the challenge is getting a PS3 at a discount if at all possible.

I searched on eBay and some other traditional auction sites and found that there really aren’t any PS3 Sale Prices out there. You have to get a bundle with the console, games and accessories that costs way more than just buying a console outright. It just doesn’t add up when I’m trying to save money, not spend more.

I had to get creative with my thinking and break away from the herd. Somebody told me about unique bid auction sites and I started researching them. For my money there is simply no comparison to www.auctions4acause.com. They have more everyday items available for auction, including the PS3, than any of the other sites. You’ll find cars, boats and vacations on the other sites. You can pretty it up all you want but I just want the PS3!

Once I found that site I knew I had what I was looking for. Two thumbs up as they had the exact item I wanted and I could get it for cheap. I cruised on over to their site an account. I rung up 3 bids and knew I had the lowest and unique bid. Wouldn’t you know it, I didn’t win the first time. I waited a week before another one came available to bid on. I placed a few more bids and slept well that night. Bingo! I won this time. 7 days later I was playing Hot Shots Golf on my new PS3. All I had spent on it was $59.64. Not too bad if I say so myself.

It can take a few minutes of reading to truly grasp the concept of the lowest unique bid auction style. After you grasp the idea you could become addicted. Since that time that I won the PS3 I’ve bid on and won 3 other items including an iPod Nano (they have the best iPod Prices) and $400 gas card. I’m getting about 4 to 1 on my money so far with $1,200 in items for less than $360 in bidding.

So don’t go searching at Best Buy or Circuit City or Walmart for the best prices on the things you want. Create an account at Auctions4aCause and see what kind of deal you can get.
